个人简介
Dr Dan Yuan is currently a Lecturer at the University of Queensland. She completed her PhD at the University of Wollongong (UOW) in 2018. After graduation, she joined the University of Wollongong as an associate research fellow. From 2019 to 2021, she was a JSPS postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Tokyo. From 2021 to 2022, she worked as an Alfred Deakin research fellow at Deakin University.
Based on the micro-nano devices, she was doing interdisciplinary research of mechatronics, chemistry, physics, optics and biomedical application. Her research area includes microfluidics, the development of lab-on-a-chip devices and applications, microfabrication, single-cell imaging, and intelligent image-based cell sorting. Her research productivity can be demonstrated by 54 peer-reviewed journal articles that have received > 2000 citations. The prestigious journals include Lab on a chip, Analytical Chemistry, Nature Communications, Advanced Functional Materials, Small, etc. She currently has an h-index of 25 (Sep. 2022, Google Scholar). She has been serving as guest editor for Frontiers in Medical Technology, and regular independent reviewer for international journals such as ACS Nano, Lab on a chip, Analytical Chemistry, Scientific Reports, IEEE Transactions on Mechatronics, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, Micromachines, Microfluidics and Nanofluidics, Cytometry Part A., Chemical Engineering and Processing, Frontiers in medical technology, Applied Materials Today, etc. Dr Dan Yuan was awarded the prestigious Alfred Deakin Research Fellowship, JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship, “People’s choice” award for 3MT thesis presentation at the University of Wollongong, National Scholarship for Postgraduates in HFUT, Outstanding Graduate of Anhui Province, and numerous awards.
