Dae-Hong Jeong received the Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from Seoul National University (SNU), Seoul, Korea, in 1999. He was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science, Yonsei University, Seoul, and University of California at Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara, until 2003. Since 2003, he is with the Department of Chemistry Education, SNU, where he is currently a Professor. He is involved in school chemistry education in secondary and higher education. His current research interests include applications of spectroscopy, especially surface-enhanced Raman scattering to bio-molecular detection.
