I´m a Professor at the Faculty of Science, Universidad de la Republica, Montevideo Uruguay. My PhD is in Environmental Technology and Water Management UNIA). I´m the Director of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Science (IECA) and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Environmental Sciences. Our topic of interest is the analysis of the impact in the environment of the land use change with intensive agriculture, afforestation, urbanization, etc.
