Nuvolone Daniela

I graduated in Environmental Science in 2003 and since then I have been involving as a researcher in environmental epidemiology, mainly in the public health implications of air pollution. My research activity is focused on the adverse health effects of population exposed to various sources (traffic, industry, waste management). I participate in Italian network “Epiair” and other multidisciplinary epidemiologists working groups aiming to give scientific support to local and central decision makers for the promotion of integrated policies for the reduction of air pollution and related adverse health effects. I am also involved in surveillance programmes on water quality, exposure to heavy metals, and environmental noise. I am involved in epidemiological studies design, data management and statistical analyses. I am also interested in GIS applications for public health concerns.
