Dudh Nath Patel received the B.S degree in physics from Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, India, the M.S. degree in physics from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, India, and the Ph.D. degree from IIT Kanpur, Kanpur, India. His Ph.D. thesis focused on the generation and analysis of laser-produced plasmas using nanosecond laser pulses, where the plasma plume expands into air gases ambient, liquid, and nonuniform magnetic fields. He focused on the laser-induced brass plasmas to optimize the plume parameter for the desired stoichiometry of the Zn/Cu, in the deposited brass nanoparticles. He has experience in the laser ablation in preionized medium, the synthesis of nanoparticles, and the characterization of microwave plasma using Langmuir probe. He is currently involved in Doppler free spectroscopy of molecular gases in the infrared region.
