Damien Fabrègue is currently an Associate Professor with the Laboratory of Materials Science and Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, Villeurbanne, France. His research activities are focused on elaboration and optimization of metallic alloys (steels, aluminum, titanium, cobalt, and copper) in terms of microstructure and mechanical properties through rapid thermomechanical treatments. These activities are going from flash sintering/bonding of metals and architectured materials to the change of the microstructure by complex thermomechanical processes (welding and deformation at high temperature).
