个人简介
His current research interests in the development of MEMS and microfluidic systems include nucleic acid diagnostics, cancer immunology, exosome analysis, liposomal nanomedicines, and advanced technologies for studying viral aerobiology. He was named an Elkins Professor by the University System of Maryland in 2020, and is a recipient of the 2013 University System of Maryland Regents Award for Research. Dr. DeVoe was named a 2008 Kavli Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, and was recognized with the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers from the National Science Foundation in 2000 for advances in microsystems technology. He is a Senior Editor for the IEEE/ASME Journal of Microelectromechanical Systems (J. MEMS), and currently serves as Treasurer for the Chemical and Biological Microsystems Society (CBMS). He is a Fellow of the Royal Socity of Chemistry (RSC) and the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).
