Dimitri Beeckman, PhD, is a nurse and Professor of Nursing at Ghent University and Orebro University. He is a visiting professor at multiple European universities and in Australia. He has held leadership roles, including President of the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel and the International Skin Tear Advisory Panel, and serves on the Executive Board of the European Wound Management Association. He is a Fellow of the European Academy of Nursing and the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN)
