• PhD in Experimental Nuclear Structure Physics (2007) with post-doctoral experience in data analysis of experimental results using γ-ray, charge particle and residual nuclei detectors, (Rutgers University, USA, 2010-2012, and the University of the West of Scotland, UK, 2008-2010). • Scientific interest: Nuclear magnetic and electric moments, large-scale shell-model calculations, cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky calculations and study of nuclear alpha-transfer reactions. • Experience in coordination of research and institutional projects in both basic science and development of science and knowledge transfer policies of higher education institutions. • Experimental experience with participation in several nuclear physics structure experiments. • An active analysis code developer, leading the successful data analysis of several nuclear physics experiments; and its interpretation using the Shell model and Cranked Nilsson- Strutinsky calculations. • A positive influence on teams - projects get finished. • Experience in the direction of projects with a high international component in basic science and knowledge transfer, innovation and entrepreneurship. • Strategic planning for Research and Knowledge Transfer Division in Higher Education Institutions, with an emphasis on knowledge transfer from basic science to the creation of spin-offs. • Technical secretary of the ``"Misión de Sabios 2019'' for the working group of Basic and Space Sciences, organized by the Colombian Government.
