Senior epidemiologist, with an optimum expertise in the design, conduction, and analysis of observational studies investigating the role of various lifestyle habits (such as diet, nutrition, alcohol, tobacco), personal and familial medical history, use of medications, hormonal and reproductive factors, and other environmental exposures on cancer and other chronic conditions. In particular, extensive experience in the: (i) conduction and analysis of case-control studies on cancer risk; (ii) analysis of temporal trends and geographic patterns of mortality and incidence from cancer and other chronic conditions; (iii) conduction of systematic reviews and meta-analyses on various environmental exposures and disease risk; (iv) conduction of pharmacoepidemiologic studies; (v) conduction of clinical studies in the field of pain treatment and palliative care.
