Cosmin Marius Ivascu

My main research topics are Traditional Ecological Knowledge and Ethnobiology in the Romanian Carpathians. The most recent publications focus on the traditional land use systems developed by the Romanian peasants, but also the knowledge behind it, and it's role in shaping cultural landscapes. The research focuses also on the implications of time - tested practices in conservation biology.
