Corinna Geisler

After studying Nutritional Sciences at the CAU in Kiel, I completed my Ph.D. in the field of Nutritional Medicine. My research focuses on the diet - gut microbiome - host - metabolism axis (e.g. gut-microbiota-brain axis or gut-microbiota-muscle axis). Identifying specific omics signatures for the development of prediabetes or diabetes and their relationship to associated comorbidities is a second topic.
