Gustavo Tontini

Gustavo graduated in Physics and obtained a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in Brazil. While a researcher, he actively participated in large-scale multidisciplinary academy-industry projects developing novel materials for compressors, with emphasis in the synthesis, characterization, and processing of nanostructured functional materials. Gustavo joined Nature Communications in 2021 and currently manages the Engineering & Astronomy Team.
