My research focuses on mindfulness-based strategies for improving health and quality of life in diverse populations. My work seeks to utilize emerging methodologies (e.g., ecological momentary assessment using Smartphones, community-based participatory research strategies) and interventions (e.g., mindfulness and self-compassion) to elucidate and prevent associations between psychosocial stress and poor mental and physical health outcomes.
