Cinzia Marchese currently works at the Department of Experimental Medicine, Sapienza University of Rome. Cinzia does research in Cellular and Molecular Biology, Regenerative Medicine and Cancer Research. She is involved in the study of the molecular and cellular interactome that underlie cell/tissue regeneration. Using engineering human organoid tissues, with the aim to regenerate functionally irreparable human tissues or organs, she has developed new cell based therapies for vaginal tissue reconstruction in patients with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser Syndrome. Their current project is 'Impact of microRNA-mediated egulation on BRCA-dependent susceptibility in ovarian cancer'.
