Bio
Christoph Will (S’15) was born in Mellrichstadt, Germany, in 1988. He received the M.S. (Hons.) degree in information and communication technology from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Erlangen, Germany, in 2014, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree.
From 2014 to 2018, he was with the Institute for Electronics Engineering, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, where he was a Research Assistant. Since 2018, he has been working as an Engineering Consultant with Infineon Technology AG, Neubiberg, Germany, regarding baseband optimization of radar systems, radar signal processing, and algorithms for human tracking and vital sign monitoring. His research topics were related to innovative radar technology based on Six-Port interferometry for industrial and biomedical applications.
Mr. Will is a member of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (IEEE MTT-S), the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS), and the German Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies (VDE). He received the IEEE 2016 Radio Wireless Week Excellent Demo Track Award, Austin, TX, USA, the Second Prize at the IEEE 2017 Radio Wireless Week Student Paper Competition, Phoenix, AZ, USA, and the Preis der ITG 2017, Berlin, Germany. He is also a reviewer for various IEEE journals.
