Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery at Duke University School of Medicine and Core Faculty Member at the Duke Margolis Center for Health Policy. Clinical interests include fracture related Total Hip Arthroplasty and conversion hip arthroplasty in the setting of posttraumatic arthritis or fracture fixation failure, Direct Anterior total hip arthroplasty, Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty for Proximal Humerus Fractures, Perirprosthetic Fracture Fixation, Fracture related infection, and pelvic and acetabular fractures. My primary research focus is orthopaedic value based care policy and data analysis in the context of racial health equity, social determinants of health, and racial health disparities. Additional interests include global surgery, artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms for clinical decision support, digital healthcare, bioethics, and health policy research.
