Anish Jacob Cherian currently works at the Department of Endocrine Surgery, Christian Medical College, Vellore. Anish does research in Endocrine surgery and Breast disorders (benign and malignant). Spending a month with Professor Martin Walz in Essen, Germany, he has been trained in minimally invasive approaches to thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal surgeries (especially retroperitoneal approach).His area of research and interest is in post-thyroidectomy hypocalcemia and ways to minimise the same.
