Dr. Yiping Chen joined School of Information, Xiamen University as a Senior Researcher in April 2018. She was an assistant professor in NUDT in 2011-2018. She received her PhD degree from National University of Defense Technology in 2011. During 2007-2011, she was a joint training PhD student in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a visiting scholar at University of Waterloo and University of Technology Sydney in 2015 and 2019, respectively. She has actively involved in 3D computer vision area, especially in 3D LiDAR data processing and autonomous driving.
