As a colorectal surgeon at NYU Langone’s Perlmutter Cancer Center, I treat patients who have cancer of the colon, rectum, and anus, and those with genetic and hereditary disorders that can make them susceptible to developing colorectal cancer. I also see patients with inflammatory and other noncancerous diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus, such as diverticulitis, hemorrhoids, anal or rectal fistulas, and abscesses.

I perform all types of colorectal procedures, including minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as open surgeries. For patients with complex disease, I often perform combined surgeries with NYU Langone colleagues, including urologists, gynecologists, and specialists from the Division of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery.
