Bio

I am a Researcher at iBiMED, the Institute for Biomedicine in University of Aveiro, in Portugal. I am studying the physiology of aging, focusing in understanding inflammaging and immunomodulation of innate immune responses. Previously, I applied imaging technologies to study NK cell Biology and I performed interdisciplinary research to study the interplay between the inflammatory response and tissue repair/regeneration to develop more efficient regenerative strategies.
