Henry Carvajal

Henry Carvajal M. received the B.Sc. degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the Armed Forces University-ESPE, Sangolqui, Ecuador, in 2009, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC), University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, in 2014 and 2018, respectively. He was ranked first in his undergraduate program. In 2018, he was Director of the Technology Transfer Area in the Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Secretariat (SENESCYT), Ecuador. He is currently Full Professor at Universidad de Las Americas (UDLA), Quito, Ecuador. His research interests are diversity-combining systems, orthogonal and non-orthogonal multiple access, multiuser detection, MIMO and 5G communications.
