I have worked in psychometrics and social psychology. Interested in media effects considering its positive and negative effects, such as prosocial behavior, empathy, self-steem, antisocial behavior, aggressive behavior and drug use. My work mainly involves music (music preference, song lyrics, coping by music listening), but also other media like the internet, newspapers, television and films. In this sense, I have been mainly interested in media psychology.
