Carlos Bonini Pires

My main research areas are soil health. soil microbiology and cropping systems. My studies focus on investigating agricultural practices that concomitantly increase crop yield and improve soil health. My goal is to measure and communicate both the economic and environmental benefits of different agricultural practices, generating recommendations that farmers can use to improve crop yield and sustainability of their farms.
