个人简介
Carina R. Lalyer M.Sc is a PhD candidate at BOKU (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences), researching how vulnerability analysis can be used to investigate the potential ecological and social impacts of genetically engineered organisms. Her primary focus is understanding the ecological systems that biotechnology might impact and the potential cascading effects. She has worked on various projects as part of the scientific staff at the Institute of Safety and Risk Sciences (BOKU), especially on biotechnology and emerging technologies. The focus was on using technology assessment for GMOs or how methods for multi-criteria decision support (MCDA) can be used to regulate and govern new nanomaterials.
