Pradeep Chaluvally-Raghavan

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a member of the MCW Cancer Center. I joined MCW in May 2016 after finishing my training in Dr. Gordon Mills lab at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. I have published two review articles from my independent position and our research articles are under consideration. After joining MCW, I have received grants from Department of Defense (DoD) and American Cancer Society (ACS) to study the roles of miRNA-mediated oncogenesis and signaling addiction mechanisms in breast and ovarian cancers. Before joining MCW, I have received several grants and awards including the Ann Schreiber Investigator grant from Ovarian Cancer Research Fund and Scientific Scholar grants from Marsha Rivkin Foundation and American Association of Cancer Research. I have successfully administered the projects proposed in my grants which produced peer-reviewed publications from each project. These efforts have culminated in the Liz Tilberis Career Development Award from the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation in 2016, the Institutional Research Grant from American Cancer Society pilot grant in 2017 and the Breakthrough Level-1 grant from the DoD Breast Cancer Research Program in 2018. Soon after joining MCW as an assistant professor, I have made significant progress in our research signaling addiction mechanisms due to copy number aberrations in women’s cancer and submitted for publications, which are published, accepted or under revision.
