C. Grace

Carl R. Grace (S'98–M'04) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of California, Davis, in 1997, 2001, and 2004, respectively. From 1995 to 1999, he was with the Physics Division, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, CA, where he designed analog and digital integrated circuits for the instrumentation of ground- and space-based subatomic particle detectors, including the BaBar Detector and the Supernova Acceleration Probe. from 2003 to 2004, he was with Conexant Systems, Newport Beach, CA, where he designed analog front-ends for digital telecommunication systems. from 2004 to 2006, he was with ClariPhy Communications, Irvine, CA, where he developed analog integrated circuits for optical communications. in May 2006, he joined Analog Devices, Inc., Raleigh, NC, where he is designing integrated circuits for wideband wireless communications. His research interests include adaptive systems, high-speed signal processing, and analog circuit design. Dr. Grace received the University of California Regents Scholarship, the United States Department of Energy Graduate Science and Engineering Research Fellowship, the 2003 Analog Devices Outstanding Student Designer Award, and the 2004 ISSCC Beatrice Winner Award for Editorial Excellence.
