Corey Vincent Bennett

Corey V. Bennett (S'94–M'99) received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1995 and 2000, respectively. He joined Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), Livermore, CA, in 1998, where he completed his research for the Ph.D. degree in parametric temporal imaging and aberration analysis. At LLNL, he demonstrated a temporal microscope system, achieving $\hbox{103}\times$ temporal magnification of an ultrafast waveform with a total system resolution better than 200 fs. After completing the Ph.D. degree, he joined Terawave Communications, where he worked on fiber-optic communications systems for the optical-access market. He returned to LLNL in early 2002, and currently works on ultrafast diagnostic technologies and new optical communications systems.
