I am interested in links between air pollution and climate change impacts on human beings and ecosystems in Europe, Asia and Africa. Through close interaction with stakeholders, I develop model-based risk assessment methods and respective impact abatement and adaptation strategies that are easily implementable by policymakers, with the overall aim to increase the resilience of human and plant communities under a changing environment.
