I received my doctorate in Applied Mathematics from the Université Paris Sud (Orsay, France) in January 1995. My dissertation was performed at INRIA (Rocquencourt, France). I spent a year as post-doc in the department of Statistics at the University of Chicago (IL, U.S.A.). I was then appointed professor at the Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille (Lille, France). I am currently a faculty member of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at The Johns Hopkins University . I am member of the Center for Imaging Science .
