Career Trajectory
Bio
Brett is committed to a career exploring how environmental factors influence health outcomes in nonhuman primates with the goal to better understand similar processes in humans. She employs a holistic approach to study disparities in aging trajectories and disease outcomes, including neurobiological, social, and cognitive assessments coupled with clinical assays of physical well-being. Her current projects aim to study vervet monkey as comparative models of aging & Alzheimer's disease.
