Brendan A. Reagan (M’04) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO, USA.
From 2013 to 2018, he was a Research Scientist with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Colorado State University, where his research focused on the development of high energy, high average power ultrafast lasers and their applications including driving bright extreme ultraviolet sources. His research included the development of the highest repetition rate, joule-level short pulse laser developed to date. From 2014 to 2018, he was also a Senior Scientist with XUV Lasers, Inc., a small company dedicated to commercializing compact coherent short-wavelength sources and related technology. Since 2018, he has been a Scientist with the NIF and Photon Science Directorate, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore, CA, USA.
Dr. Reagan is a member of the OSA and SPIE and was the recipient of the 2010 OSA Foundation Maiman Grand Prize.
