Jordi Bover

Head of the Nephrology Department at HGTiP, Badalona (Barcelona), Catalonia, Spain. His main fields of interest are early diagnosis of CKD, CKD as a cardiovascular risk factor, the pathophysiology of secondary hyperparathyroidism and 'Chronic Kidney Disease and Mineral and Bone Disorders' (CKD-MBD), including renal osteodystrophy-osteoporosis in CKD and cardiovascular calcification. He co-founded the ERA-EDTA CKD-MBD Working Group and lectured about the previous topics in more than 40 countries.
