Martim Bottaro

Graduated in Physical Education from Universidade Católica de Brasília (1987). Master's (1992) and Doctorate (1999) in Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico (USA). Post-Doctorate (2010) in Kinesiology from California State University at Fullerton ( USA), and (2015) in Exercise Science by the Universidad Publica de Navarra (Spain). He is currently Director and Full Professor at the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Brasília, and 1A researcher at CNPq. He was CEO (2013-2015) of the Support Foundation of the University of Brasília (FINATEC). He also served as a member of GAE with the Board of International Relations of CAPES (DRI), and as a representative of Physical Education in the Multidisciplinary Advisory Committee for Health (MS) of CNPq for 2 terms. It has more than 150 articles published in PUBMED. Has experience in the area of Physical Education, with emphasis on Exercise Physiology, acting mainly in the line of research that investigates the Chronic and Acute Neuromuscular Adaptations of Strength Training.
