I am a vascular neurologist with 20+ years of experience in teaching, research, and clinical practice, mostly in Shiraz University of Medical Sciences(SUMS). I got a specialty board certificate in neurology (2002) and did a fellowship in vascular and interventional neurology(2010).
I am proficient in TCCD, diagnostic angiography, angioplasty and stenting, and embolization.I am proficient in history taking, focused neurological examination, use and interpretation of tests, and considering appropriate management and treatment for patients with stroke. I am skilled at developing and implementing the methodology, assisting in data collection, and writing the manuscript. I am good at teamwork, problem-solving, and computer skills as well. As my most important accomplishments, I became the third top student in the Iranian national board of neurology examination(2002) and the third best researcher in the field of internal medicine at the Razi national research festival(2012). I have more than 220 papers in peer-reviewed international journals (H index: 39 in google scholar). I aim to be the top 1% of highly-cited researchers in Iran and the world.
