I am working at the Institute of Hydrobiology, Biology Centre CAS, however, I am very interested in international collaboration. I have studied Bachelor degree in Biology, Master degree in Ecosystem Biology and PhD in Hydrobiology at Faculty of Science University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice. The topic of the thesis was “Assessment of the ecological potential in Czech reservoirs based on fish community”. In the field of science I am studying fish ecology in reservoirs, mainly population dynamics of piscivorous fish, application of biological data to assessment of the ecological quality related to Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC) and recently environmental DNA.
