My research interests are in the field of complex miltifactorial diseases like cancer and diabetes. Basically I am a cancer biologist but currently focusing on Human genetics of both cancer and diabetes. Use of genetic biomarkers for analyzing predisposition to diabetes and cancer can help in better management of these diseases. Since a lot of data through high throughput methods have been generated by different research groups and consortiums I am focuing on analysis of those data by means of bioinformatics and biostatistical approaches. I have published papers in many reputed journals including PLOS genetics, JBC, Biochemie, Clinica Chimica Acta, Tumor Biology etc
