General practice offers variety and the opportunity to meet diverse patients from all walks of life. It allows the development of a clinician who advocates positive change for patients from contributions to clinical research, policy-making and teaching, through to a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families. As a highly motivated, organised and compassionate doctor, I take a patient centered philosophy demonstrating the highest level of professional and personal standards. I strive for good clinical care, ensuring safe working practice for patients. I am also enthusiastic about academia and teaching – I endeavor to drive for improvements within academic medicine and education to instill and inspire good medical practice in future generations.
