I’m a plant ecologist specialising in applied fire and seed ecology, threatened species conservation, and extinction risk. My current research includes conservation of the iconic Wollemi Pine (ecology, fire response, translocation), NSW plants and ecosystems at risk following the 2019-20 megafires, effects of altered fire seasonality on recruitment from soil seed banks, risk-based fire management of threatened species, and fostering natural regeneration of threatened plants & ecosystems on LHI.
