I use geochemical and geochronological tools to unravel the processes that build up orogens. Nowadays I am working on dating low-U minerals through the U-Pb system by LA-ICPMS (garnet, carbonate, sulfate,…). In the past, I played with Lu-Hf, Sm-Nd, and Rb-Sr systems, via isotope dilution. I also do major and trace element analysis. I do have a strong instrumental and analytical background (Q-ICPMS, SC-SF-ICPMS, MC-ICPMS, TIMS, solid-state and excimer lasers)
