Beatrice Arosio

Graduate with a first-class degree in 1989 and PhD in Physiopathology of Aging in 1997 at the University of Milan. Since 2001 Researcher at the University of Milan and since 2003 director of the laboratory “Laboratorio per lo Studio e la Terapia delle Malattie dell’Anziano”. Her main occupations are the characterization of genetic profile of susceptibility to ageing and the research of biomarkers of neurodegeneration. In 2014 selected as expert evaluator by the European Commission Research Executive Agency within the Horizon 2020 program call PHC3 "Personalising health and care" In 2015 selected as expert evaluator by the executive government agency of National Science Centre (Narodowe Centrum Nauki - NCN; http://www.ncn.gov.pl). Member of Gerontological Society of America and Italian Society of Geriatric and Gerontology. Senior Editor of the “Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease” and referee for International Journals.
