Barbara Cosciotti

Barbara Cosciotti received the M.S. degree in physics and the Ph.D. degree in physics from Roma Tre University, Rome, Italy, in 2010 and 2014, respectively. She is currently a Technician of mathematics and physics with the Earth Planetary and Physics Laboratory (EPPLab), Roma Tre University. She has consolidated experience on intense experimental activity in the laboratory and in the field. She has developed skills and competences in sample preparation (liquid and solid) and management of measuring cells: capacitive and coaxial cells with relative maintenance and calibration; management of the experimental set-up with the use of various measuring instruments: LCR meter (HP4284A and HP4255), vector network analyzer (Agilent E5071C), TDR, pycnometer (micromeritics AccuPyc 1340), phmeter, conductivity meter, and dryer with different cooling techniques such as climatic chamber (Angelantoni) and cryostat with liquid nitrogen and baths with CO2 pellets; data acquisition, processing, and interpretation by writing numerical codes in MATLAB; and design of measuring cells.
