Every family, every community, and every nation suffers a high burden of vascular disease morbidity and mortality. Yet, in 2017, much less is known about systemic vascular diseases as compared to heart disease and stroke. The epidemiology, diagnostic approaches, and comprehensive treatments of vascular diseases are advancing due to contributions of investigators internationally. Such study, with a base in social justice, are the focus of our work at the University of Minnesota.
