As a physician-scientist, my research program focuses on children with obesity due to hypothalamic dysfunction. My focus is translational studies linking mechanisms of hypothalamic obesity and clinical therapies. I have previously served as the lead investigator on multiple phase 2 clinical studies, both investigator-initiated and industry sponsored in diseases such as pseudohypoparathyroidism, PWS, MC4R deficiency and hypothalamic obesity due to brain tumors.
