Ashish Kumar Sahani was born in Bhubaneswar, India, in 1988. He received the B.Tech. degree in electronics and telecommunication engineering from the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar, India, in 2010. While pursuing the B.Tech. degree, he worked extensively on computer vision and robotics. Since 2010, he has been working toward the Ph.D. degree at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India. His doctoral research deals with the development of technologies for noninvasive diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. His research interests include biomedical electronic systems, medical ultrasound systems, cardiovascular and respiratory diagnostic devices, medical signal processing, and alternative medical therapies.
