Antonio Olivas is a mathematician, a medical doctor (internal medicine) and a PhD student in Biostatistics. As a research assistant at University of Washington/Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, he does individual patient data meta-analysis of clinical trials to assess the benefits of cardiac resynchronization therapy in patients with heart failure in different subpopulations, and research on the design and analysis of active controlled trials (a.k.a. non-inferiority trials) for HIV prevention.
