Antonella Privitera

Antonella Privitera is Heritage Scientist. Currently, she is attending the Phd in Science of matter, nanotechnologies and complex systems at Roma Tre University, Dip. of Science. Previously, she worked at the Institute of Nanostructured Materials ISMN, Italian National Research Council (CNR-ISMN). Antonella does research in Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies for the sustainable Conservation of Cultural Heritage. Projects: 'Materials and technologies for Cultural Heritage, electronic and magnetic systems' ; 'TECLA: “Nanotecnologie e Nanomateriali per i Beni Culturali” del Distretto di Alta Tecnologia per l’Innovazione nel settore dei Beni Culturali della Regione Siciliana'. She is an expert in Judicial Archeology and protection of Cultural Heritage against crimes and she carry out expertis and consultancy on archaeomaterials and artworks, both in judicial and extrajudicial matters.
