Bio
Anthony DeSantolo received the B.S. degree in chemistry from the State University of New York (SUNY), Binghamton, in 1978, and the M.S. degree in chemistry from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, in 1989.
From 1980 to 1986, he was with Exxon Research and Engineering Company, where he used laser-induced desorption to probe chemical reactions on metal surfaces. from 1986 to 2001, he was with AT&T Bell Laboratories, where he was engaged in the study of physics and chemistry of semiconductor clusters. Since 2002, he has been with OFS Laboratories, Somerset, NJ, where he is engaged primarily in making rare earth fibers.
