Annette Gaertner

I am a molecular neurobiologist with a major interest to understand the molecular mechanisms regulating neuronal plasticity and development in the central nervous system. I am specifically interested in studying how neuronal circuits develop and use sophisticated techniques as genetic manipulation of the developing, embryonic brain, in vivo imaging techniques and in vivo functional assays of cellular physiology.
