Current research of my team focuses on the establishment of new approach methodologies (NAMs) for the toxicological assessment of fibres, nano- and other advanced materials. This includes the development of grouping approaches, screening methods (e.g. for reactivity and oxidative stress), the elucidation of toxicity mechanisms (e.g. by proteomics) and in silico/ machine learning approaches.
